Dummy Dumb

Watch the paint fly!

I am  a fine artist working in the community of St. Albert in the greater Edmonton area.  Please check out my web portfolio! In my studio, I play the dual role of scientist and artist.  Working with acrylic paint and mediums, I enjoy experimenting with the physical and chemical properties of the materials almost as much as he enjoys creating images.  The resulting techniques are combined with direct painting to create compelling compositions.  The surfaces of these works are often transparent and luminous, reminiscent of stained glass, an effect achieved with acrylic skins and gels.  My past four years have been spent experimenting with and developing these acrylic techniques and there aqppears to be no end to the versatility of acrylic paints and mediums! My work can be found at The Daffodil Gallery and the Art Gallery of St. Albert.
